What if East Heretic murdered Princess Hua Jeng and Prince Tolui?

Not sure if such a scene took place in the LOCH novel, but in LOCH '82, there was a moment when, in a fit of pique, East Heretic Wong Yerk See briefly threatened to murder Princess Hua Jeng and Prince Tolui of the Mongol Empire. Fortunately, Wong Yung was able to talk her father down from such a rash act, but imagine if Wong Yerk See actually did go through with murdering the Mongolian princess and prince?

Genghis Khan probably loved these two children more than his others, particularly his fourth and youngest son Tolui. If the Khan found out that East Heretic had murdered his children, would he have dedicated all the resources of his empire into hunting down and killing Wong Yerk See for revenge? Could even all the resources of the Mongol Empire have succeeded in hunting down and killing Wong Yerk See? Even if Wong Yerk See could evade the Mongols, would he need to spend the rest of his life in hiding (well, that wasn't too different from how he lived his life anyway, I suppose)?
