I don't recall this forum ever mentioning the 'lost' original Xiaoyao Pai arts (lost as they only appeared in 1st ed).
Xiao Yao Yu Feng (逍遥御风) : This was supposed to be the skill passed on to the Sect Head only. Only the founder mastered it (ell he created it). Even Wuyazi was only capable of 10-20% understanding. Which makes it some really really ultimate level skill. I mean, fug! WYZ only comprehends <20% of it?
I can't even think of an proper translation to capture this art's name/meaning. Closest I can think of is 'Essence of Carefree' or 'Regal Spirit of Careful'. Someone help.
Tian Jian Shen Gong (天鉴神功) : Heavenly Supervison/Oversight Skill? Again, sounds overpowered because it was inscribed on 360 bronze mirrors and DY only looked at 2 and learnt the LBWB. So less than 1% of this skill gives you the overpowered LBWB!?!? What does the full 100% even look like? We don't know cos LQS only mastered a fraction of this skill too. In 1st edition, the Rainbow Palm and LBWB were small fragments of this skillset.
Guess JY edited them out because he wanted his DGSD guys to seem like supreme beings instead of some 2nd rate apprentices who couldn't master half their master's skills?
